About Me
My intention as a yoga teacher is to support mindfulness and increased body awareness, using the breath to create a connection between the physical body and the mind. I teach inclusive classes by adapting poses to suit a range of abilities, creating a positive space for students to connect with themselves. My classes include physical postures, breathing practices, relaxation and meditation.
Yoga is a thread that has been running through my life for many years. I have been a student of various teachers since 1998 and a teacher since 2016. I teach Hatha Yoga influenced by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, BKS Iyengar and TKV Desikachar. I bring to my yoga teaching a background in Buddhist philosophy and meditation.
I hold a British Wheel of Yoga 500 hr BWYQ Level 4 Yoga Teaching Diploma and have completed further training in Yoga Nidra. I am First Aid trained and fully insured. I teach regular weekly classes in London and am available for one-off bookings and one-to-one sessions.
There are many different paths of yoga, all leading back to the self. I believe that yoga is accessible to everyone at any stage of life and is something that can be practised both on and off the mat. Come and give it a go!
